Practical Info


The event will take place in exciting venues in the city of Ghent, Belgium. Thanks to its central location in Europe, Ghent is very easily accessible by train/plane from all Belgian and European cities.

You can reach MeetDistrict by the major highways E40, E17 and R4. At arrival you can park at MeetDistrict (see map above). You can find the parking underneath the Albert Hein shop.

National trains: Disembark from the train at Gent Sint-Pieters and go to the main exit. There you can find a taxi to bring you to MeetDistrict. It is a 10-15 minute drive. You can also take the bus to the venue (lines 65 or 67).
International trains (Eurostar, Thalys): International trains arrive at Bruxelles-Midi/Brussel-Zuid. From there several trains, each hour, take you directly to Gent Sint-Pieters (direction Oostende/Brugge/Kortrijk/Blankenberge). There you can find a taxi to bring you to MeetDistrict or the buses 65 or 67.


After arriving at Brussels International Airport (Zaventem) make your way to level -1, and take a direct train to Ghent (direction De Panne/Brugge). Disembark from the train at Gent Sint-Pieters and take a taxi to MeetDistrict.

June 6: At 8.30am a bus will pick you up in front of the NH-hotel and bring you to the event location. At 5.10pm a bus will bring you back to the NH-hotel.

June 6, VIP dinner @Handelsbeurs:
 At 6.15pm someone from the organization will guide you from the hotel to the venue Handelsbeurs.

June 7: At 8.45am a bus will pick you up; after the event; cabs will be available.

As an attendee, you will be able to create a networking profile in our matchmaking tool, Conversation Starter, specifying what kind of people you would like to meet, how they can help you and what knowledge or expertise you can share with other participants. Potential matches will be proposed to you, after which you can arrange a meeting with them at "Level Up".

Please note that Conversation Starter is the only way to pre-book one-on-one meetings. All presentations and company details will be shared on and after 'Level Up Belgium'.
